U.S.-China to Hold JCCT Meeting This Week

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman will co-chair the U.S.-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT) meeting scheduled from December 16-18 in Chicago, Illinois. U.S. officials will meet with a delegation of high-level governmental representatives from China to address bilateral trade and investment issues, and to promote commercial opportunities between both countries. AMI's Vice President of International Affairs Bill Westman will participate in a full day of sessions designed to facilitate private sector engagement, as part of a leadership delegation from the U.S.-China Agriculture and Food Partnership (AFP). U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will also participate.
