Four Chinese Establishments Eligible to Export Processed Poultry Products to U.S.

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) posted the names of four establishments located in China's Shandong province that are eligible to export processed poultry products to the U.S. Foreign establishments can export processed poultry products to the U.S. provided that raw poultry is sourced from countries that have been determined by FSIS to have an equivalent poultry slaughter inspection system. Under FSIS regulations, China is eligible to export poultry products that are fully cooked and not shelf-stable. FSIS will re-inspect any product exported by the four establishments upon arrival to a U.S. port.
