PHIS Reports Enhanced

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that the agency's Public Health Information System (PHIS) Reports have been updated to allow industry users to filter their reports using a date range. This new feature allows industry users to customize their reports to return only the most relevant information for a specified timeframe. Industry subscribers currently have access to three reports: an establishment profile report explaining a plant's PHIS profile, a non-compliance report detailing a plant's non-compliance history and a sampling results report summarizing a plant's microbiological and residue sampling results. In late October, FSIS will release a report on Public Health Regulations (PHRs), which will provide plants with detailed information about PHR non-compliances, as well as the PHR rate and other key information to monitor performance in this area.
