AMS Increasing Fees For Grading, Certification and Audit ServicesWednesday, March 5, 2008
(American Meat Institute)The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is
increasing the fees and charges for Federal
voluntary egg, poultry, and rabbit grading,
certification, and auditing services for the
next two fiscal years, FY 2008 and FY 2009.
Fees are increasing by 2.76 percent to 7.74 percent to cover the increase in salaries of Federal employees, salaries of State employees cooperatively utilized in administering the programs, and other agency costs. The change goes into effect March 30, 2008.
