Anne MacMillan

Anne served as senior advisor and deputy chief of staff to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack for several years, where she developed and implemented the agency’s regulatory agenda and managed the Secretary’s policy team. She was also senior policy advisor to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), where she led agriculture, veterans, small business, and government oversight policy. She also worked with Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-CA) on the 2008 Farm Bill and Endangered Species Act reform. In the private sector, Anne was director of government affairs for The Wonderful Company.

Anne is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and received her JD from The George Washington University Law School.

Randy Russell is the President at The Russell Group, where he works with clients to identify goals and develop and execute lobbying strategies to successfully influence the legislative, administrative, and regulatory process. Prior to joining the firm in 1986, Randy served in a number of agricultural policy positions, both inside and outside of government, including Chief of Staff for Secretary of Agriculture John R. Block, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economics at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Vice President for Agriculture and Trade Policy at the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Director of Government Relations for The Pillsbury Company, and the 1981 Farm Bill Coordinator for USDA.
