NHDSC Adds to Successful Promotion Efforts.

Following a busy National Hot Dog Day that generated nearly 500 million impressions online, the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) received additional positive media hits last week. The popular food site The Takeout ran a widely shared feature about the number of phone calls, texts and emails the NHDSC receives asking if a hot dog is a sandwich. Meanwhile, as part of promoting National Chili Dog Day on Thursday, the NHDSC connected with leading Washington, DC sports radio station 106.7 The Fan, delivering hot dogs to host and hot dog aficionado Chad Dukes and his radio team. The delivery earned several minutes of positive air time as the crew discussed their love of hot dogs. National Hot Dog Month runs through Wednesday.
